Paul's update.

Wake up and smell the roses!
That means both of you guys too!
Come on Paul it's time to wake up and go out for the day!
"Well can Clifford come too guys?"
Dog Park!  Where's Pauldo?
"Frolicking at the beach!"
"Can we keep him?"
Sad Keanu?
Sad Keanu!
"It's getting late guys, let's go home!"
"Now I'm tired."
"I'm gonna eat my bone....oh wait I'm asleep again."
Paul loves to thrash Clifford.

Everyday life

So far we've been to a couple different beaches, a handful of parks (including dog parks for Paul), and a couple farmers markets.  We had a chance to pick up freshly grown strawberries, oranges, lettuce, and broccoli.  Hopefully there will be more fresh produce on our horizon.
Mountain Lions? Bobcats? No big deal.
 Now that's a view.
A little winter grilling. These burgers are too big for their buns!
Did you even know that there are different types of strawberries?
 Get it?
Paul loves lounging!

Our New Home in Ventura Redux

Ventura life in La Quinta

Sorry for the lack of updates.  Our days have consisted of continental breakfast at around 7:30-8:00 A.M., which by the way have been delightful (waffles, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit, orange juice).  We usually take a couple bagels with cream cheese back to the room to eat for lunch.  Then from 8:30 until 8:00 P.M. we have been applying for jobs.  No place accepts paper applications so it's rough being nothing more than an electronic form in a sea of electronic forms and not a person with a face and personality.  It hasn't been all work though.  We have been able to stop by the pool a handful of times and we usually take a break around 7 or 8 P.M. to enjoy the jacuzzi.  The hotel here is pretty nice although there is no microwave......
........good thing we brought the toaster oven!!!
 Pretty much everywhere is scenic.
 Palm trees everywhere!!
"I hate palm trees, let me at 'em!"- Paul
 Harbor Cove Beach
(A mere 8 minute drive from our hotel.)
Paul getting scared by a wave.
This is the kinda stuff we can look forward to when we finally get jobs and a real place to stay.
Footprints of all varieties.

 Paul's tired.
